PURPOSE:To prevent bubbles from being generated in a method wherein a bottom body upper surface in the shape of a plate is fitted onto the undersurface of a cylindrical drum main body with a step between them, and they are subjected to ultrasonic welding, by providing a clearance between the fitting sections. CONSTITUTION:The undersurface of a cylindrical drum main body 1 of a transparent acylic resin is formed with a groove having a horizontal surface 12, on the other hand a colored bottom body in the shape of a plate is formed with a ridge 7 in the shape of a ring that has an upper surface 13 for giving stability thereto and an energy director 14 in the shape of a wedge, then the main body and the bottom body are fitted with a clearance of about 0.1mm. between the vertical surface of the groove of the drum main body 1 and the circumferential surface 18 of the ridge 7 of the bottom body, and after a nozzle and a handle are secured, a horn is pressed to the bottom body so that the drum main body and the bottom body may be welded by ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic waves will be concentrated to the director 14 to unite them at the horizontal surface 12 and the upper surface 13 and bubbles will be expelled from the clearance 15. A watering apparatus free from marks of bobbles can be produced. |
