PURPOSE:To omit each process for aftertreatment of an electroformed copper plate and manufacturing of an electroformed iron plate and a matrix roll as well as to aim at shortening these stages of work and automating them, by manufacturing these elements through numerically controlled electro-discharge machining and embossed scroll manufacturing processes after molding and these electroformed copper plate manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION:An electroformed copper plate 9 is manufactured through both molding and electroformed copper plate manufacturing processes and dipped in a machining tank 18 filled up with a derivative solution 17, then the electroformed copper plate 9 and a work body 19 are set to a N/C electro-discharge machining device. Next, on the basis of a machining position being stored in a memory, the work body 19 is shifted along the electroformed copper plate 9 as being rotated in an arrow direction, and discharge takes place with a discharge waveform by quantum-mechanical control commensurate to an uneven pattern on the electroformed copper plate whereby the uneven pattern on the electroformed copper plate 9 is stamped, thus a matrix roll is produced. Using this roll, the work 19 is processed through an embossed scroll manufacturing process whereby the required embossed scroll is securable. Thus, the data required for embossed scroll manufacturing can be shortened and it is automatically operated so that no skillfulness is required and, what is more, low-unit cost of production comes to fruition. |
