<p>An automatic cigarette extinguisher consists of a plastic sleeves or inset of non-toxic thermo-retractable mateial, which shrinks on contact with the hot cigarette end and causes the passage of air to be restricted. The device works automatically and reduces fire risks. The plastic material may be polyethylene, cellulose acetate, polyester or pref. PVC. The sleeve is pref. mounted at one end of the cigarette between the filter and the paper, and forms an integral part of the cigarette.</p> |
