PURPOSE:To reduce load on an operator while preventing a sheet from jamming by automatically removing or adding tension from or to the continuous sheet according to the condition of the sheet when the continuous sheet supply section is changed over to the sheet inserting condition or the sheet travelling one. CONSTITUTION:A continuous sheet 4 is supplied from a sheet stocker 10 to a sheet tractor 5 and discharged to a sheet stacker 11 through a transfer section 3, a fixing section 7 and a discharging section 8. When then the tractor 5 is changed over to the travelling condition of sheet as shown by the solid line, a microswitch 6 detects this condition so that an electromagnet system actuator 9 presses pinch rollers 8-2 against scoff rollers 8-1 through a lever 13. As a result, the continuous sheet 4 is run by the tractor 5 and both rollers 8-1, 8-2 to give tension to the continuous sheet 4. On the other hand, when a new continuous sheet 4 is inserted, both rollers 8-1, 8-2 are spaced from each other so that the continuous sheet 4 is prevented from an irrational force. |
