PURPOSE:To hold an optical running body fixed invariably when a power source is off, and to prevent deformation and damage due to vibration, etc., in transportation by fixing and releasing the optical running body automatically when the power source is turned on and off. CONSTITUTION:When a main switch is turned on to energize a solenoid 9, a pressing-up plate 10 is held lowered against the operation of a tension spring 11, and fin parts 15 and 15' and shafts 3a and 4a do not contact each other. Scanners 3 and 4 are therefore guided by guide rods 5 and 6 to enter a readout scanning state. When the main switch is opened, the solenoid 9 is turned off, so the pressing-up plate 10 moves up and the fin parts 15 and 15' abut on the shafts 3a and 4a to press up free end sides of the scanners 3 and 4 until said scanners contact the stop plates 18 and 19, so that they are fixed. |
