PURPOSE:To fix an original at a prescribed position on a platen by equipping a cover body with an original fixing plate through an elastic member, and fixing the original with the fixing plate by the elastic foce of the elastic member when the cover body is closed. CONSTITUTION:The original fixing plate 13 is linked to the inside of the cover body 12 supported pivotally on one end of the platen 11 in a free opening/closing state by using a hinge 14, and the elastic member 15 is interposed between the fixing plate 13 and cover body 12. When the cover body 12 is closed slightly, the fixing plate 13 fixes the original A on the platen 11 by the elastic force of the elastic member 15, so the original A never moves by wind pressure and is fixed even when the cover body 12 is opened. Therefore, when the cover body 12 is closed and opened, the original A is copied with good quality without moving by wind pressure. |
