<p>PURPOSE:To develop an air dehumidifier having excellent dehumidifying effect, by assembling two electronic cooling elements utilizing Peltier effect in an inner cylinder, and arranging the inner cylinder in an outer cylinder in such a state that said cooling elements are connected to heat dissipating fins by a heat conductive plate. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 15, of which the upper part is made of a metal, is arranged in an outer cylinder 14 and electronic cooling elements 23a, 23b utilizing Peltier effect are placed to the lower part of the inner cylinder 15 and connected to heat dissipating fins 26a, 26b by a heat conductive plate 21. A current is supplied to both electronic cooling elements from a power source 27 to lower the temp. of the cooling fins 24a, 24b attached to the cooling surfaces thereof and, after the open air containing humidity is cooled and moisture is condensed to be discharged, said air is raised through a dehumidifying passage 18 and heated by the heat dissipating fins 26a, 26b to be discharged as dried air from the upper part thereof. In addition, the open air rises through the cooling passage 19 between the inner and outer cylinders from below and discharged upwardly by a fan 20 while being heated by the metal part 16 of the inner cylinder. Two fans are unnecessary as heretofore required, and the dehumidification of the open air is performed at reduced power consumption.</p> |
