The invention relates to an electrical generator in which the variation in flux is obtained by interposing a back electromotive force plate with variable reactance between the inductors and armatures. The force couple is suppressed by an odd number of holes or blades or by integration by virtue of a compressor system (even number of holes or blades). In the latter case a current can be obtained exactly like that of the National Grid (EDF). If the energy to rotate the plates is too large, use can be made of the relative displacement of two back electromotive force plates moving in the opposite direction, simultaneously drawing away from and drawing towards the cores of the sensing coils by virtue of a synchronisation by enmeshing, resulting in a considerable energy saving.
