In the case of an exhaust pipe system between a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine supercharged on the ram pressure principle and an exhaust turbocharger the exhaust outlets on the cylinder head side are connected to an exhaust manifold by way of curved connecting ducts which widen in the manner of a diffusor.
