The fair stand is intended for exhibitions or the like and has a container which can be transported on a vehicle and of which one side wall can be swung up about a vertical hinge pin. This container is assigned, at a distance and substantially mirror-symmetrically, a second container which likewise has a side wall capable of being swung up. The distance between the two containers is dimensioned so that it is bridged by the swung-up side walls in the planes of the front and rear end walls of the containers. The space limited by the two containers and the swung-up side walls is covered with a removable roof.
