PURPOSE:To return a readout position to a normal position speedily even if a position shift or track jump occurs by utilizing reproduction absolute time address data obtained from a disk to read information and control the readout position on the disk when the information is reproduced from the disk. CONSTITUTION:The reproduction absolute time address data AD is obtained from a decoding circuit 15 which is supplied with reproduction address information QI from a decoder 12 and supplied to and stored in a register 16 temporarily. A reference time data generating circuit 18 generates reference time data STD on reference time by the same coding with the reproduction absolute time address data AD obtained from the decoding circuit 15, and the data STD is supplied to a register 17 and stored therein temporarily. The reproduction absolute time address data AD set in the register 16 and the reference time data STD set in the register 17 are compared with each other by a data comparison part 20. Comparison outputs P1, P2, and P4 from the data comparing part 20 are supplied to control terminals of a selection switch 21. |
