Fitting device for tyres

The invention relates to a fitting device for pneumatic vehicle tyres whose beads are located on the radially inner circumference of the rim when in the mounted state. For fitting which is easy on the tyres, a device is proposed which is characterised by a fitting stand with a receiving flange for the rim and with an extendable piston rod, by a fitting spider which can be attached to the piston rod at a distance from the rim, by a plurality of fitting units distributed over the circumference of the fitting spider and having in each case one fitting lever which engages in the radially inner area of the tyre bead during the fitting of the tyre and during the actuation of a fitting unit exerts a movement which is predominantly axially inwardly directed and slightly radially outwardly directed.
