PURPOSE:To execute a connection with high accuracy in a connecting work site by inserting and fixing in advance a small piece of optical fiber strand to an about intermediate part extending from a holding sleeve to a butting sleeve. CONSTITUTION:On a plug base 10, the first fitting hole 12 is provided from its plug end face 11 to the axial direction, the second fitting hole of a large diameter is provided so as to communicate with this fitting hole 12, and a projecting part 14 to be installed to a connector is formed on its outside circumference. A holding sleeve 20 is fixed to the first fitting hole 12, and a butting sleeve 30 and an adhesive sleeve 40 are fixed to the second fitting hole separated in the axial direction from the holding sleeve 20. Also, the sleeve 20 and 30 are separated from each other, and an adhesive agent layer 15 is formed. In this way, the connection can be executed with high accuracy by inserting and fixing in advance a small piece of optical fiber strand to an about intermediate part extending from the holding sleeve to the matching sleeve. |
