PURPOSE:To prevent satisfactorily scattering of a toner particle of a toner image by irradiating the rear side of a photosensitive body by an auxiliary lamp for transfer use, in a part where the toner image on the photosensitive body and a copying paper are overlapped. CONSTITUTION:A transfer auxiliary lamp 12 and a light shielding plate 13 are placed on the rear side of a photosensitive body 4 of the upstream side of a transfer device 9. In this state, immediately before a toner image on the photosensitive body 4 and a copying form 7 are overlapped, the photosensitive body 4 is irradiated from the rear side, and a latent image potential under the toner image is dropped. When the potential has been dropped, no toner scatters since the toner image is overlapped on the copying form 7. Also, before they are overlapped, the irradiation is prevented by the light shielding plate 13. Therefore, scattering of the toner is prevented, a drop of a picture density and a disorder of a picture are eliminated, and a distinct picture is obtained. |
