PURPOSE:To constitute a variable timing storage device without considering the operation characteristics nor storage capacity of each memory card by using memory cards which differ in operation specification and storage capacity in combination. CONSTITUTION:A memory card 13A adds the value of a storage capacity setter 1 where its storage capacity is set to address information sent from the memory card at the precedent stage through an address information line 8 by an adder 2, whose output is sent to the memory card 13B at the trailing stage. Then, the storage capacity setter 1 and comparators 3A and 3B judges whether information is acceptable or not from the address information sent from the precedent stage and the judgement result is reported to a timing card 16 through a timing selection signal line 11; when the information is acceptable, information on TA operation timing 14 or TB operation timing 15 which is sent from the timing card 16 through a timing signal line 12 is received. Thus, the memory card 13A or 13B which is ready to receive the information is accessed. |
