PURPOSE:To simplify the shutter moving mechanism of a recording and reproducing device and protect a discoid recording medium securely by opening and closing the shutter automatically in both left and right directions of the insertion direction of a disk cartridge through a couple of sliders which abut on the shutter and spring members which energize both sliders. CONSTITUTION:Both sliders 36 and 37 are made of synthetic resin materials with good lubricity; the 1st slider 36 moves on a guide projection part 10 horizontally, and the 2nd slider 37 moves on the guide projection part 10 horizontally. Further, the mutually opposite surfaces of both sliders 36 and 37 abut on both abutting parts 29 and 30 of the shutter 7 respectively, and are energized in such directions as to abut to a stopper 11 and both abutting parts 29 and 30. Support shafts 39 and 39 support rotatably sectorial opening/closing plates 40 and 40 for opening and closing reference pin insertion holes 13 and 14, and the plates are energized by springs 41 and 41 in such directions as to close the reference pin insertion holes 13 and 14. |
