PURPOSE:To bring a flexible recording medium into slide contact with a magnetic head in an optimum state and to obtain an excellent recording and reproducng characteristic by providing two pads opposite to the magnetic head on the upstream and downstream sides in the running direction of a disk or radially so as to insert the head. CONSTITUTION:A fixed substrate 20 is arranged on the head surface 21a of the magnetic head 21 fixed to a base 22. Screw holes 20a and 20b are formed in the fixed substrate 20 so that the gap 31 of the magnetic head 21 is at the center part between them, and pad support shafts 23a and 24a are screwed therein to allow the substrate to move up and down. Then, pressure pads 25 and 26 are fixed to the center of plate surfaces of holding parts 23b and 24b by using an adhesive, etc. Consequently the pad support shafts 23a and 24a are screwed in to move up and down the upstream-side pressure pad 25 and downstream-side pressure pad 26 independently. |
