PURPOSE:To attain line selection minimizing the number of lines where one way channel only is used at connection by managing the number of usable lines and allocating the same line to a call of one-way communication conducting the communication in opposite direction and reserving the line. CONSTITUTION:In receiving reservation, reservation information is given from a reserved information input terminal 14 at first. The reserved information comprises types of reservation, an identification code of reservation, a reserved communication start time and end time and information designating an outgoing terminal device and an incoming terminal device setting the line. A signal device 13 indexes operating information of a call required to give a connection command from an operating information file 12 when the communication start time is reached just ahead and transmits the operating information to an exchange to which the incoming terminal is allocated. The exchange 2 acquires the outgoing terminal 6 when the communication start time is reached, selects the line so that the idle line number of the line 27 is maximized and transfers the cal identification code, the line number of the selected line 27, the connecting path from the exchange 3 to the exchange 5, direction of communication, and the incoming terminal number to the exchange 25 via the line 25. |
