A terminal pin carrier comprises an apertured card 10 of low-cost expendable material of sufficient rigidity and thickness to secure a plurality of terminal pins 14,16,18 therein in accurately aligned relative disposition corresponding to an intended socket contact pattern. After installation of the terminal pins as a group into an associated circuit board 24 soldering of the pins 14,16,18 to the board 24, the card 10 can be manually peeled from the terminal pins 14,16,18 to leave an array of socket contacts into which an integrated circuit or other electronic component can be plugged. <IMAGE> |
