PURPOSE:To provide the titled printer capable of efficiently adjusting a printing position, by a method wherein printing information is printed at a predetermined printing position of a printing paper on the basis of position information read by a card reader from an information card corresponding to a paper set for printing. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic card 17 for printing position information is provided for each kind of printing paper, and a label VR with the kind of printing paper written thereon and a magnetic stripe MS with printing position information recorded therein are adhered to the surface of the card 17. A magnetic card reader 18 is incorporated in an operating panel of the printer 1, the printing position information in the magnetic card 17 is read and is inputted into an information- processing part 12, and a printing mechanism part 15 prints the printing information with the predetermined printing position of the printing paper as a reference point. |
