PURPOSE:To improve negative electrostatic chargeableness, dispersion stability, fixability and printing resistance and to prevent the deterioration of image quality after development of many sheets by dispersing resin particles copolymerized with >=3 kinds of cyclized rubber, resin soluble in a carrier liquid and halogen-contg. resin into the carrier liquid. CONSTITUTION:The cyclized rubber contributing to the improvement of the fixability and printing resistance is dispersed into the carrier liquid having >=10<9>OMEGAcm electric resistance and <=3 dielectric constant. A methacrylic acid, etc. contributing to the improvement of the dispersion stability and fixability is graft-polymerized as the resin soluble with the carrier liquid with said liquid and further the halogen-contg. resin contributing to the improvement of the negative electrostatic chargeableness and particle characteristic is polymerized therewith. The concn. of the developer during use is maintained at 0.1-10wt% in non-dry component. The developer exhibits therefore the good negative electrostatic chargeableness and the excellent fixability and printing resistance. The developer is free from deviation in the compsn. even after development of many sheets and prevents the deterioration of image quality. Since three is no setting of the particles, the spoiling of the dispersion stability is obviated. |
