PURPOSE:To provide a multicolor printing press eliminating interval adjustment between printing sections/regardless of variation in the printing length by providing a phase matching mechanism between the adjacent printing sections to make the printing sheet length therebetween integral times as large as the printing length in the multicolor printing press provided with a plurality of printing sections having printing cylinders and impression cylinders. CONSTITUTION:In a multicolor printing press provided with a plurality of printing sections comprising printing cylinders 22 and impression cylinders 23, phase matching mechanisms 181...18n-1 for a printing sheet between the printing sections. The phase matching mechanisms 181...18n-1 are, for example, made up of a pair of guide rolls 19a and 19b and one adjuster roll 20. Changing the position of the adjuster roll 20 with the guide rolls 19a and 19b brings the same effect as would the alteration of the interval between the printing sections on both sides thereof. |
