LUBRICATION FLUID FILTERING AND COOLING ASSEMBLY

The oil filtering and cooling assembly includes a bracket for simultaneously mounting a pair of lubrication filters, and a lubricant cooler on the block of an i.c. engine. A bracket provides multiple fluid flow passages so that fluid is conducted from the main engine oil discharge port into the bracket, into a first discharge port leading to a filter from which oil is returned to the bracket for delivery to the cooler. From the cooler it passes backthrough the bracket to the main return port on the engine block. A predetermined a mount of lubrication fluid is diverted through a bleed passage to an auxiliary filter and then conveyed through a flow passage in the bracket to an auxiliary port.
