This pile-cutting apparatus is devised to cut projecting pile in the rear part of machine-embroidered textiles mechanically. A caterpillar-type velt(7) is installed between the driving roller(2) and the passive roller(2). Another caterpillar-type velt(8) is linked between the passive roller(3) and another side passive roller(3'). A curved scabbard(9) is installed at the lower part of both sides of the velt(7,8) and cuts the projected pile.
