<p>PURPOSE:To improve the adsorption performance of an adsorption tower by starting the cooling operation immediately after the temp. of the blow at the outlet of the adsorption tower reaches the specified temp., making the cooling flow rate larger than the heating flow rate, and finishing sufficient heating and cooling within the specified hours of change-over. CONSTITUTION:When one adsorption tower 3-1 of the 2-tower system adsorption towers is in adsorption, the other adsorption tower 3-2 is in regeneration. And the cooling and heating are carried out respectively. The waste gas from a deep-cooling separator 4 is introduced into a regeneration heater 6 while regulating automatically the gas flow rate by an automatic valve 5 to the set value of a flow rate controller 9, and heated to a high temp. of >=about 250 deg.C, for example. The high-temp. waste gas is then introduced into the upper part of the adsorption tower 3-2 on the regeneration side through a check valve 7, and discharged to the outside of the system through a selector valve 2-2. And when the temp. of the blow gas is detected as 120 deg.C by a detector 10, the signal is transmitted to a heater 6 and the electric power source is interrupted. The cooling operation is then started. The signal from the detector 10 is also transmitted to a ratio setting device 8, and the set value of the flow rate controller 9 is automatically increased by the set signal from the device 8 to make the cooling gas flow rate larger than the heating gas flow rate.</p> |
