<p>PURPOSE:To separate and recover dusts removed from a dust collecting surface securely and quickly by sucking the gas in the main body of the apparatus from dust collecting passage and cleaning the gas at the outside of the main body and introducing the cleaned gas again as circulating flow. CONSTITUTION:Dust-contg. gas is supplied to a dust-collecting passage 2 between narrow electrodes comprising a flat plate dust-collecting electrode 3 and electrode 6 maintained at high voltage in the main body 1, and the dust is collected by the electrodes 3, 6. Dampers at the introducing side and discharging side 12, 13 are closed and operation of high voltage generating devices 4, 10 are suspended. The gas in the closed main body 1 is sucked from an end of the dust collecting passage 2 and is cleaned by sending it to an external gas cleaning mechanism 14. Then, it is sent to an ejection mechanism 19 at another side of the dust- collecting passage 2 and ejected toward the dust collecting surface, and then reintroduced as circulating flow into the main body 1. The swept dust is recovered by the gas cleaning mechanism in the circulating passage 15 except the dust settled to the bottom 20 of the main body 1 and recovered by a recovering tank 20.</p> |
