<p>A pneumatic tyre for heavy loads comprises an air-tight inner panel, a carcass, a belt, a tread, side walls and a tyre base. The carcass is arranged in the line of action of one of the forces present in the event of loading amounting to between 30 and 50% of the load rating. For a projecting length of between 5 and 20% of the tread width, the belt ends in a region of from 5 to 20% of the tread width that tapers on both sides of the tread width.</p> |
