PURPOSE:To provide page constitution without errors by constituting a copying machine in such a way that paper is always discharged to a non-sort bin irrespectively of whether a sort mode is selected or not when double-side copying is executed in the stage of interruption. CONSTITUTION:When the operator depresses an interruption key during execution of a double-side copying mode, the operating mode now under execution is temporarily stopped. The data on the already set number of sheets, cassette selection, copying magnification, AE/MANUAL selection, dobule-side ''front''/ ''rear'' mode, etc. are saved and an interruption display device is lighted. When a double-side copying mode is assigned in the interruption mode, the copying mode is always reset automatically to the previous copying mode upon ending of said interuption both-side copying. The copying paper is discharged into a non-sort bin 62 upon completion of copying when both-side copying is performed in the interruption copying mode. A non-sort signal is transmitted from the body side even if the sort mode is selected on the sorter side and therefore the paper is always discharged into the bin 62. |
