PURPOSE:To handle a plastic films in manufacturing processes similarly with a glass substrate by adhering and fixing the plastics film to a plate. CONSTITUTION:The transparent film 2 coated entirely with ITO is collected to prescribed size, and adhered and fixed to a glass plate 1 with an adhesive 3A to constitute a substrate. Consequently, when photoresist is applied with a roll coater, the film 2 is fixed by suction through a porous body 5 formed on a support 4 connecting with a vacuum system, and the film is coated with the resist stably without moving even in the roll coating. Then, numbers of glass plates 7 with films are treated in the solution such as an etching tank or a resist removing process while stored in a carrier 8 to prevent a film from contacting the frame or another film 2 by flexing to damage and also prevent the substrate from floating on the whole. The films are fixed by suction and handled even in the processes of oriented film coating, rubbing orientation, printing of a seal material, etc., to facilitate the handling. |
