PURPOSE:To perform rapidly a semi-quantitative analysis of an object element in a bodily fluid specimen without inviting pseudo-positivity, by using a sheet of test paper impregnated with a reagent which develops color by reacting with the object element and dried applying a non-contacting fine porous film on an absorbing carrier. CONSTITUTION:After impregnating with a mixed solution of trinitrobenzene sulfonate, sodium borate and Na2SO3 of an absorbing carrier of noncontacting (having no catalytic effect component to be analyzed and reagent) absorbing carrier of fine porosity, for instance, a macro-molecular film and the carrier is dried. By immersing this in urine, a sheet of test paper for semiquantitative analysis of overall protein in urine is obtained after referring the developed color (yellow) to the predetermined color-tone table. Further, by immersion of 3.5 dinitrosalicylic acid in a body fluid after impregnation and drying in said carrier of a solution containing NaOH, phenol, NaHCO3 and Rochelle salt for making it reactive in an alkaline range, the semi-quantitative analysis of reduced sugar is made available by the degree of development of brown color. |
