PURPOSE:To change a stroke and an initial position of a moving member by providing two cam shafts, supporting a cam follower by both ends of a rocking lating rod, and operating a moving member of a cutting tool through a link mechanism by the rocking rod. CONSTITUTION:In a spring manufacturing machine 1 for operating a cutting tool 13 through a rocking rod 22, a sliding rod 19, a rocking lever 16, a connecting rod 15 and a slide 14 by a rotation of the second cam shaft 28, when changing a stroke of the tool 13 and its initial position, a position of a cam 24 to a cam follower 23 is changed by rotating the first cam shaft 27 and the cam 24. In this case, the shaft 27 and the shaft 28, and also the cam 24 and the cam 25 are rotated simultaneously, respectively, by fitting each gear engaged mutually with the shafts 27, 28, and a complicated and varied movement which cannot be given by only the cam 25 is given. In this way, a stroke and an initial position of a moving member can be changed easily and in a short time. |
