发明名称 METHOD OF CONTROLLING FUEL INJECTION OF INTERNAL- COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce system cost while maintaining the control precision by performing independent fuel injection control using a micro-processor if it operates properly, however, performing synchronous fuel injection control using a fuel injection controller if the micro-processor fails. CONSTITUTION:A micro-processor 20 receives various sensor's signsls from an internal-combustion engine 10 via signal lines 21. According to the signals, the micro-processor forms injection control signals for providing an optimum timings for each cylinder and sends the signals on signal lines 22. The injection control signals on the signal lines 22 are fed to an internal-combustion engine 10 via switches 30, drivers 40 and injectors 50, respectively. If a failure detection/ switch circuit 70 detects any failure of the micro-processor 20, the switches 30 are changed over via a signal line 71. A synchronous injection control signal which is being developed on the signal line 81 of a synchronous injection control circuit 80 is sent to each cylinder of the internal-combustion engine 10 via the drivers 40, injectors 50 and injection control output lines 60.
