An increase of the power outtake on a combustion engine with an exhaust gas driven scavenging air compressor is obtained by connection the discharge end of the exhaust gas turbine (17) to a second gas turbine (40), and allow devices driven by the shaft of this turbine to convert residual power in the engine exhaust gas to mechanical work. Means ( 46 & 48 respectively) can be set up to supply fuel between the engine gas exhaust and the system's turbine (17) and/or between the latter and the other gas turbine (40).<IMAGE> |
