PURPOSE:To enable efficient utilization of a copying machine by constituting the machine in such a way that double-side copying is accomplished in the stage of interruption copying as well. CONSTITUTION:The operator raises first the flapper 33-1 of a body 100, conducts the transfer paper subjected to copying to a pedestal 200 side and stores the paper into an intermediate tray 59 via a conveying path 57 of the pedestal 200 in the stage of double-side coping. Then the operator moves a plate 56 for controlling paper size in accordance with the paper size to be stored. When an interruption key 72 is depressed during execution of the double-side copying mode, the operation mode now under execution is temporarily stopped. The data on the already set number of sheets, cassette selection, copying magnification AE/ MANUAL selection, double-side ''front''/''rear'' mode, etc. are saved and the machine waits for the fresh depression of the key. However, the assignment of the double-side copying mode is possible only when the selected cassette size and the size of the transfer paper now in the intermediate tray coincide. |
