PURPOSE:To suppress an increase in power consumption even when a deck is lifted up by stopping powering on a heater for fixation when the deck is driven. CONSTITUTION:This is the hardware logic for turning off the heater for turning off the heater for fixation when the deck is lifted up, and a deck lift signal 140-1 is sent out of a deck elevation control circuit connected to a pedestal controller. Then, this deck lift signal 140-1 is inputted to an AND gate 140-4 through an inverter 140-2 together with a fixing heater on signal 140-3. Therefore, when the deck lift signal 140-1 is at a high level, a deck lift motor is driven, but the heater for fixation is turned off at the same time, suppressing an increase in the power consumption of the whole copying machine. |
