PURPOSE:To prevent miscopying due to wrong original direction, wrong original mount position, etc., by moving a display part according to the decision on form size and copy magnification. CONSTITUTION:An operator when starting copying operation operates a form size detector and a magnification selecting device according to the copying condition. For example, when the form size is A4 and unmagnification copying, the operator performs operations for those, then a mark 20 is moved through the driving part of a carriage 18 driven by a controller from a start position shown by a solid line to a position shown by a dotted line as shown by an arrow (x) to display the length of a copying area of A4 size by the distance between a glass fix 16a and the mark 20. Consequently, the operator mounts the original on a glass plate 15 within the range of the indicated copying area and only the operation of a start button with an original cover closed is only required. |
