PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation, by providing such an arrangement that the next rotational speed interuption time is calculated in accordance with the previous and present rotational speed interruption times, and the rotational speed interruption is inhibited until the next interruption time from the time when the drive signal is delivered from a device which becomes an electrical noise source. CONSTITUTION:An output signal from a rotational speed sensor 26 is shaped into a rectangular pulse signal. An electronic control device 31 which controls the engine with the use of the shaped pulse signal as a rotational signal, receives at first the present rotational speed interruption time t1 upon processing of rotational speed signal interruption. Then, the previous rotational speed interruption time t0 is red out from an RAM, and a limit time t2 before which no next rotational speed interruption is expected to occure, is calculated and memorized. Then, judgement is made to detemine whether the present time (t) is before the next time t2 or not upon driving of an ignition device 32 which is supposed to generate strong noise such as, for example, ignition signal noise, and if it is before the t2, the rotational speed interruption is masked to inhibit the delivering of noise to a CPU. |
