DOWN DRAFT TYPE VARIABLE VENTURI CARBURETER

PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from entering a suction chamber and also prevent an air fuel ratio from fluctuation by shaping a suction hole in the form of a cranked passage and communicating the passage with a small hole which opens downward. CONSTITUTION:A suction hole 10 which communicates a Venturi 4 with a suction chamber 6 is formed in a suction piston 3. The suction hole 10 is shaped in the cranked form and consists of a part 11 which opens to the Venturi 4 and extends horizontally, a vertical part 12 and a horizontal part 13 which opens to the suction chamber 6. The vertical part 12 is communicated with a small- diameter fuel releaf hole 14 which opens to the lower face of the suction piston 3. Even if a part of fuel enters the horizontal part 11 of the suction hole 10, it may be guided to drop in the vertical part 12 and discharged into a suction passage from the fuel releaf hole 14.
