PURPOSE:To make effective use of the energy of reactors and to improve the ripple factor of output current by forming a circuit which releases the energy of the reactors via welding load to the circuit of an arc welding machine. CONSTITUTION:The cathode of the 1st unilateral control rectifier element 2a is connected to the terminal B across the secondary winding of a welding trans- former 1 of which the primary winding is connected to a power source. The cathode of the 1st rectifier element 3a is connected to the terminal A. The 1st and 2nd reactors 4a, 4b' are connected between the anodes of both elements 2a and 3a. The anode of the 2nd unilateral control rectifier element 2b is connected to the terminal B of the secondary winding and the anode of the 2nd rectifier element 3b is connected to the terminal A. Welding load 5 is connected between the juncture of the cathode of th 2nd unilateral control rectifier element 2b and the 2nd rectifier element 3b and the juncture of the 1st and 2nd reactors 4a and 4b' and the resistors 6a, 6b are connected in parallel to the elements 2a, 2b. The inductances of the reactors 4a, 4b' are made approximately constant and said reactors are wound around the same iron core by which the magnetic fluxes generated when the 1st and 2nd unilateral rectifier elements are alternately conducted. |
