<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing or enabling a vacuum-heat-insulation container or storage, without performing an evacuating operation, by replacing the gas in a vacuum-heat-insulation layer with hydrogen gas, and then causing a hydrogen-occluding metal provided in the layer, to absorb the hydrogen gas under the action of the low temperature of liquefied gas stored in the container. CONSTITUTION:The gas in a vacuum-heat-insulation layer 2 provided in the body 1 of a vacuum-heat-insulation low temperature container is replaced with hydrogen gas. After that, a hydrogen-occluding metal 3 provided in the vacuum-heat- insulation layer 2 is caused to absorb the hydrogen gas under the action of the low temperature of liquefied gas 4 stored in the container. For that reason, an evacuating operation is not needed. The high-performance vacuum-heat-insulation container of the like can thus be manufactured through a very simple operation.</p> |
