PURPOSE:To obtain a high-density image and to prevent stain due to development by using a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin as the principal component of a binder in a precoat layer and by specifying the composition of the resin. CONSTITUTION:When a precoat layer and a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compound and a coupling component as principal components are formed on a support to manufacture a diazo copying material, a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin is used as the principal component of a binder in the precoat layer, and the composition of the resin is restricted so that vinyl acetate is contained by 10-70wt% of the monomeric units. A coating liq. consisting essentially of said binder, a porous filler and other additives is coated on a support such as paper or a film and dried to form a precoat layer by 0.1-5g/m<2>, and a coating liq. consisting of a diazo compound, a coupling component and other auxiliaries is coated on the precoat layer and dried to form a photosensitive layer. Thus, a two-component type diazo copying material is manufactured. When copying is carried out with the copying material, a high-density image is obtd. |
