<p>Solids are sepd. from an (aq.) suspension by floation with an ethylene oxide polymer foam. Suitably the polymer is polyethylene oxide pref. of mol. wt.44000-22000000. The matter in suspension can be oil, fly ash, coke fines, or a combination of sand, mud, clay, mineral ore or organic matter. Typically the polymer is added at 0.001-100 ppm water.</p> |
