PURPOSE:To mold waste plastic efficiently into a preset form with reduced volume by a method wherein waste plastic to be processed, which is melted for softening, is charged in a mold provided with a discharge cover, a presser cover, etc. which are hollow and can be cooled, and is pressed by a pressing means while being cooled. CONSTITUTION:A mold is constructed by a floor board 2, a discharge cover 9, an upper cover 6, a presser cover 18, etc. which are hollow and can be cooled by cooling water introduced thereinto. The floor board 2, the discharge cover 9, the upper cover 6, the presser cover 18, etc. are cooled down by the cooling water introduced thereinto, and, the discharge cover 9 being opened, a release agent such as silicon oil is applied on the inner wall of the mold. The discharge cover 9 being closed thereafter, the presser cover 18 is moved back, and waste plastic to be processed, which is melted for softening, is charged down into the mold from a hopper 21. Next, a pressing means 19 linked to an oil tank 22 is operated to make the presser cover 18 press the waste plastic so as to be compressed and molded. Then, the discharge cover 9 is opened, and a molded substance is taken out of the mold. |
