PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times of refilling an ink and maintain the clearness of printed images, by supplying the ink from an ink-refilling body having a high ink impregnation ratio to an ink-impregnating roller. CONSTITUTION:The ink-impregnating roller 6a supplies an ink to an ink ribbon 1 moved along an inside wall of an outer frame of an ink ribbon casing 2 provided with an ink ribbon exposing part. The ink-refilling body 8 formed of a porous material such as felt or porous rubber having an ink impregnation ratio higher than that of the roller 6a and having a diameter smaller than that of the roller 6a is provided on the roller 6a. The ink-refilling body 8 is supplied with and impregnated with an ink, and only when the amount of the ink carried by the roller 6a is reduced, the ink is supplied to the ink ribbon 1 through the roller 6a and an ink-transferring roller 4a. |
