MULIPATH NOISE REDUCTION CIRCUIT

摘要

PURPOSE:To decrease the noise due to missing carrier caused by multipath by detecting an AM component of an IF signal and actuating a pre-value hold circuit depending on the level of the AM component. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 7 compares an output of an AM detector 6 detecting the AM component of the intermediate frequency signal with a prescribed level. Then a sample-and-hold circuit 9 holds a pre-value of a signal output for a prescribed period depending on the compared output of the comparator 7 to decrease the noise at missing carrier due to multipath.
