A first method of construction consists in erecting the structures of a construction by means of prefabricated elements which are standardised according to a modular reference layout grid, and they are positioned and assembled in order to occupy a specified place as a function of this modular layout grid. A second method of construction consists in producing walls and partitions of a construction made from shuttered concrete by means of forms standardised according to this modular reference layout grid and covering these walls and partitions with prefabricated finishing elements which are themselves standardised and assembled to the walls and partitions or fixed to the latter according to this modular, pre-established layout grid. The interior walls 5 and partitions 6 are installed on the lines 2 of the layout grid so that this specified thickness is equal on either side of the lines 2; the thickness of the perimeter walls 4, on the interior side, is equal to this thickness 7; the thickness, on the exterior side, being variable. This method of installation relates both to elements which are prefabricated and standardised as a function of the layout grid and to walls and partitions produced by means of standardised wall forms. <IMAGE>
