PURPOSE:To make it possible to set freely the position of the movable plate depending on the die height, by utilizing an end of a tie bar as a piston rod for mold clamping cylinder set on the fixed plate side, by making the fixed plate side a smaller path part by setting a stage part to be a guide of the die height at the middle of the tie bar and by setting a connection part contacted with the stage part of the tie bar, which are freely opened and closed on a movable plate. CONSTITUTION:A movable cylinder 9 is moved and a movable plate 2 is moved to the side of a fixed plate 1. A gate 12 is set on a state separated from a tie bar 3 and a piston 7 of a mold clamping cylinder 8 is fixed at the position which is a little closer to a back plate 6from the position determined by the sum of the thickness of a fixed mold 10 and that of a movable mold 11. When a gate 12 in the movable plate 2 passes through a little the position of the stage part 3a of the tie bar, a cylinder 17 is operated and the gate 12 is moved closer to the tie bar 3. By operating the mold clamping cylinder 8, the stage part 3a is contacted with the gate 12 and the maximum mold clamping pressure can be obtained. As the mold clamping cylinder 8 is comparatively longer, it is possible to move the piston 7 and set the position of the stage part 3a. |
