The machine is for producing tubular containers. It has an indexing rotor (6) with a number of equally-spaced radial forming mandrels (5) attached to it. A pressure plate (10) with linear motion is carried by an operating head (29). The mounting of the head (29) on machine frame (88) includes flexible bushes (87). The indexing rotor is linked to the mounting plate (90) of the operating head (29) by two tie bars (84). Thus when the pressure plate (10) is applied the reaction forces produced are absorbed by the tie rods (84), the link bracket and the mounting plate (90). |
