The invention relates to a sealed modular dismantleable cabinet and the method for making a cabinet having several modules. The basic cell is made from three types of elements: a base 1 and a roof 2 which are identical, four uprights 3 and four cladding panels 4. The uprights 3 are assembled by fitting into the exterior corners of the base and of the roof and are fixed with the aid of a single threaded element 6 at each corner. The panels 4 may be pivoting, forming reversible doors opening to the right or to the left, or may be fixed. This cabinet is principally intended for the protection of electrical, electronic, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment, although this list is not exhaustive. <IMAGE>
