A series of heat pipes is set in rotation, which heat pipes are constituted by hollow discs 2 containing a heat-exchange fluid which vaporises in contact with a hot primary fluid in the peripheral part of the discs 2 and condenses in contact with a cold secondary fluid in their central part, the droplets thus obtained returning into the peripheral zone under the effect of the centrifugal force; the discs comprising passages 38, 40 for the primary and secondary fluids which are separated from each other by skirts 24, 26 mounted on the discs 2.
